In the heart of Greer, South Carolina, our team of skilled tradesmen embarked on a transformative journey to breathe new life into a timeworn house. The first step in this ambitious project involved gutting the house to its bare bones. Most of it was already demoed through phase 1, as it appears someone started the project previously but didn't proceed. The inefficient layout was discarded, paving the way for a fresh start. Lauren Alonso, with her keen eye for design, conceptualized a new floorplan that would redefine the living experience. The expanded layout now features three full bedrooms, a lavish master bathroom, a shared bath for guests and the two front bedrooms, and an open kitchen and living area, creating an inviting and functional space for future tenants.
With the exterior acting as the first impression, Husky Builders invested in new exterior doors and windows to enhance both aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency. A brand-new roof was installed, ensuring longevity and protection for the entire structure. New siding, railing, and gutters were brought up to 2023 standards with class.
The interior transformation began with precise demolition and framing to accommodate the reimagined floorplan. To meet contemporary standards, the project included a complete overhaul of the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Insulation was upgraded to improve energy efficiency, creating a comfortable and eco-friendly environment. New tile adorned the bathrooms, showcasing a sophisticated design, while shaker-style cabinets and quartz countertops adorned the kitchen, exuding both elegance and durability.
The choice of Sherwin Williams Alabaster paint not only added a neutral canvas for future residents but also served as a testament to the commitment to high-quality finishes. Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring brought a modern aesthetic and easy maintenance to the living spaces. Every detail was meticulously considered, from the selection of interior doors and trim to the thoughtfully chosen fixtures that added the finishing touch to each room.
The result of this comprehensive remodel is a revitalized home that seamlessly blends the bones of this house charm with contemporary living.
